Dividing a big apartment into two, that was the goal of our client. The apartment, located in Barcelona’s charming neighborhood of Gracia, used to be a factory in the early 1900s, before converting it into an apartment about 20 years ago. In the early renovation, the main structure of the building was covered with plaster ceilings.
Taking advantage of the new redistribution needed, we proposed our client to demolish the existing plaster ceilings, in order to uncover the barrel-vaulted brick ceiling and integrate the steel structure into the design.
A 360° virtual tour render of the new main bedroom, was key to obtaining a precise conception of the result. The client loved the contemporary / industrial look of the new space.
